This End Up Furniture Company was founded in Raleigh, North Carolina by two students from North Carolina State University. The Company and its furniture were an immediate success and widely accepted throughout North Carolina and surrounding states. The founders sold the Company to Melville Corporation in 1988. Under Melville, the Company grew to over 240 mall based stores nationwide.

“We have more than your average amount of This End Up furniture. We live in a raised ranch and have multiple living room spaces. The count stands as follows...a pair of bunk beds, two book cases, two end tables, two coffee tables, two tv stands, three couches, four arm chairs, one side desk for an arm chair, one desk, and an ottoman. This week I ordered covers for two couches and two chairs and cushions and covers for a couch and a cover for the ottoman. It all arrived two days after I ordered them. They are epic! The sewing is awesome and the fabric is rock solid. These things have been with us since the 80's. The replacements fit the original wood frames like a glove.
